Announcing openSUSE 10.3 RC1 (with screenshots!)

The openSUSE team is happy to announce that RC1 looks brilliant and is now available for download. They consider this release to be feature complete, stable, and suitable for testing from any user. I became quite familiar with SuSe back in my IBM days... Interestingly enough, I haven't used Linux exclusively since Red Hat 8 and it still looks real similar.

Linux hasn't changed much in terms of UI recently, hopefully with the release of KDE4 that will change.

(Have I said this before?)

There certainly is a lot of hype, I've been trying to get KDE4 Beta installed on my system, but with near-dialup internet speeds (I've used up my measly 500MB broadband) the .iso takes approx. 27 hrs to download!
